First Time

Last night was our first night in the new apartment; everything is very bare and I’m still OCD about certain things (walking around barefoot). We’re working on making this our new home and transforming to feel “home-y.” It will be an adventure, but a thrill none the less. The whole process is so familiar to me therefore it’s a wonder I’m even giving so much thought into everything.

Cyberspace Traveler’s Bug

It appears I show all of the signs of having caught the inconvenient traveler’s bug, just through a different medium other than physical. I have been doing a bit of traveling through the ah-mazing website Vimeo, which, I am well aware you ought to be acquainted with by now. Through the ‘Travel and Events’ category I have been able to somewhat experience places over lapses of time and truly know that I do, indeed, want to one day visit such sights in my physical form. I feel entirely obliged to remark that my favorite form of Vimeo travel would most definitely have to be the time lapse – as this form allows one to feel the destination through various times. Inspiration–Party

Inspiration: French & English countryside, balloon-filled, Miss Dior Cherie perfume soaked, pastry & cupcake adoring people, Brigitte Bardot playing, pastel colours everywhere, exquisite courtyards, Yorkies, – my inspiration and ideal party.

I am inspired by this make believe party, that was itself inspired by the countryside of France and England seen in period and that of older, antiqued films. [I am inspired] By the balloons seen in the Miss Dior Cherie perfume campaigns, the perfume itself and the whole aesthetic look of the perfume and different campaigns. [I get inspiration] From random pastel coloured pastries, including marvelous sprinkled doughnuts attached with a high price tag, pastries only the French people can brew, and the exceptional cupcakes from various cupcake castles found in Beverly Hills (and the surrounding areas) that force you to find a fork before you allow yourself to treat yourself.
