In Review: New Juicy Glasses, One College Acceptance, and Other Beautiful Discoveries

Lately, I have been sick, so I haven’t really been the life of the party. Last week was certainly a better week for me. A few things happened that made me so happy that now, as I’m not feeling good at all, I’m basically clinging onto those moments trying to find the positive side of my life. So, while I’m trying to wrap my head around getting better and thinking more clear, let me give you a little update as to the latest happenings in the life of someone (moi) who wishes for a glamorous life but must instead make glamorous with what she has.

2010: A year that hosted some of the bigger changes in my life. A year that gave me some of the best opportunities so far. A year that gave me more depth.

I made a big move when I moved from Sunny SoCal to the weather-ridden East Coast (Los Angeles to Red Bank, NJ). Not one of the bigger moves of my life, but one that will still stay in the books for a long time, possibly for the rest of my life to tell my grandchildren.

Lady On The Move

Hope everyone had a fantastic and merry Christmas. Spending time, eating, drinking, feasting with family and close ones.

Of course, for me there is also something else to look forward to: winter break! Finally.

However, even though it’s winter break, January First will come regardless. Four days left!

For those less informed, January first is the date everything has to be turned in for colleges/universities, and I’m freaking out! I haven’t received my confirmation notecards from 3 schools from one teacher, and none from the other teacher! Worried! I have submitted most of my applications to my schools, with a few more schools to go. Luckily, some of my schools are not January first, with one deadline even stretching to March. Relief!

Speeding Cars

Fast cars chasing the nights trying to keep the daylight from entering into this world. The world that consists of (1) fast people with slippery souls; (2) dangerous drinks and hypnotic music; (3) shallow intentions with lasting regrets. These nights we cherish, track down, obsess over, stalk, hunt, would do anything for. We long for these nights.
